Anna Brown, an independent fashion designer based in Chicago, approached us for a rebrand that would better reflect her core values—expert craftsmanship, structural yet unique silhouettes, gender-neutral appeal, and an inviting, down-to-earth presence. While she had built a loyal following, she needed a refreshed identity to attract new customers who would appreciate her handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Drawing from Anna’s deep inspiration in early 20th-century American and Japanese workwear, we crafted a bold, structured logotype with broad letterforms that echo the precision of her designs. An earthy, subtly industrial color palette balances the typography, reflecting her commitment to natural and recycled materials.

To highlight Anna Brown Studio’s sustainability efforts, we also developed a distinct identity for MULTIPLY—a program that allows customers to return gently used items in exchange for a discount on new pieces. These items are cleaned, repaired, and resold under the MULTIPLY label. The secondary brand identity helps bring visibility to this unique initiative, reinforcing Anna’s dedication to mindful, circular fashion.
